The masterplan focuses on the potential nodes and leftover green pockets. Connectivity between all these nodes and green pockets are able to rejuvenate Kg. Baru Salak Selatan into a more well connected and functioning village. Once all these connections are established with good urban infrastructure and pedestrian walkways, the connectivity within the villagers will improve. The existing wet market being the main node that connects to all these nodes. The current condition of the wet market is typical JKR wet market design. The proposal is to enhance the current condition of the wet market with a proper drop off lobby and turn each floor being walkable. Secondly, is to add one more function to the existing market. Lastly, rejuvenate the current wet market into a place where people could gather and connect.
